Create a stunning, textured pink pumpkin canvas with this step-by-step guide! We’ll start by tracing our pumpkin and painting it in soft shades like Vintage Pink, Teaberry, and Summer Peach for a beautifully blended look. Then, we’ll add a turquoise background, delicate gold details, and even a bit of sparkle with glass and resin accents.

Grab your tracer, tape it to your canvas, place graphite paper underneath, and trace your pumpkin with a stylus.

I’m using three beautiful shades of pink on my pumpkin: Vintage Pink, Teaberry, and Summer Peach. We’ll work on each section one at a time for a soft, blended look. Start with the large center section by painting it in Vintage Pink. Next, add Teaberry to one side and Summer Peach near the top. Blend a touch of white paint in the middle for dimension. Repeat this technique for each section around the pumpkin.

Next, paint the stem with Traditional Burnt Umber. I'll also add white paint on one side of the stem.

Use a liner brush with Splendid Gold and run it between each pumpkin section. Dry with a heat tool.

Now let’s move on to the background! Start by working in sections—apply a layer of white paint first, then blend in Desert Turquoise to create a soft, textured effect. Aim for a slightly patchy look rather than a solid color. To add depth, mix in small touches of black paint in some areas of the canvas. Paint the sides of your canvas with Desert Turquoise too. Dry with a heat tool.

Use a graphic pen to outline your pumpkin, pumpkin sections, and the stem with short, quick strokes. I'll also use a gold Posca Pen to sketch on my pumpkin's vine. I'll also run my graphic pen along the vine for added dimension.

Now, let's add glass! I have cut glass from a pink vase from Hobby Lobby that I will use for my leaves. I am adding Clear Classic Glass to the top of each pumpkin section.

We're going to elevate our canvas using blocks. Mix 1/2 oz total of ArtResin and stir gently for three minutes. Pour the resin onto your glass and canvas and use your gloved fingers or brush to spread it over the entire canvas. I'll also sprinkle Pink Mist seed beads and Crystal seed beads throughout the glass nad background.

Use a heat gun to pop your bubbles. Keep your heat moving at all times!
